M.A.C Mineralize Skinfinish Natural

Introducing my latest acquisition from M.A.C:

This is the best pic to show the swatches. It was so difficult to take the swatch pic Mineralize Skinfinish Natural because it's a perfect match for my inner arm and the texture is very fine. I can't really differentiate the swatch & my bare skin without comparing it with my L'Oreal True Match Super-blendable powder in Golden Beige [Luv this powder, but it's a bit powdery for my skin. Need to buy a darker shade.. -_-] & L'Oreal Translucide in Nude Beige [This is my biggest mistake in choosing pressed powder. Too dark for my NC40 skin!!].

My verdict:

I just used this powder twice. Not sure bout its real power, but so far I love it! It compliments my Mineralize Satinfinish Foundation perfectly and it's definately very good for touch-up. Yay, I don't have to worry bout having unfresh look on 26/12 morning!! ^^

Applicator is not included with this powder. I have to use my ELF powder brush, but ended up feeling guilty because the are lots of fall out!! Membazir okay.. I should have used a smaller brush instead.. T_T I read somewhere that the best brush to use with this product is the kabuki brush. Must get this brush later!!

I would advide you not to use m.a.c mineralize products if you like full coverage & want your make-up to stay for a long time. They only provided light to medium coverage which is not good for people with acne prone skin like me. Have to use concealer to coler thouse imperfection.. -_- But I luv the finish look. So dewy, glowing, fresh & natural. Luv, luv, luv!! ^^

What actually happened:

1. Lazily woke up around 10 am.. I changed my alarm ringtone from SJ's Don't Don to SJ's Haengbok recently coz I'm already too used to DD everyday. Surprisingly it managed to wake me up though the music is kinda softer compared to DD. I love Haengbok. ^^

2. Took First bus to city centre around 11 something..

3. Can't remember what time did we arrived at Platters. Everyone ordered seafood risotto [a.k.a nasi France (kae 2009)]. We shared a plate of lemon kalamari as starter. Luv, luv, luv calamari. So chewy and fresh! ^^

4. My seafood risotto. I got lots of prawn & mussels. Yum yum. ^^

5. It started to rain while I was savouring my seafood risotto.. Wrong weather.. Tak suke okay.

6. I forgot to bring my pink Born to Shop umbrella. -_- Had to brave the rain to go to heart of city centre. Kesian my baby Nf. I'm so sorry baby. We can't wait for the rain to stop. Kedai tutup awal skrg. I need to do my shopping. Sorry.. T_T

7. I slipped in front of Hog's Head bar. Honestly my knee hurts so much at that time, but I can still can walk. What's wrong with me today. T_T

8. Hujan lebat. We went into TK Maxx to berlindung from the rain. I took this chance to buy a new umbrella. Must save my baby Nf from further damage. T_T

9. Went to House of Fraser. Pusing2 & tested Chanel Change, Luv the smell. So fresh, young & vibrant! Finally bought m.a.c Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Dark. Will post its swatch entry later okay darling. I was served by my fav make-up artist, Sam, again. She's so friendly & helpful. Luv, luv, luv her. She touched up my face a bit. My make-up menurun because of the rain, so it really help. I think the people at m.a.c already recognized us because we are regular here. This month only I went to m.a.c counter almost every week & bought lots of make-up [3 lipsticks, foundation, concealer & mineralize skinfinish natural]. We are like their pelanggan tetap already. *lol*

10. Went to Drake Circus later on. My baby is now protected by my newly bought umbrella. Yay! ^^ But before that we stopped at Dorothy Perkins & Evans. Kae bought one gorgeous peep toe heels from Evans. It was the first shoes that caught my eyes. Me jealous!!

11. Finally went to Drake Circus not long after that. Went to our one & only fav shop, Primark. On the way to Primark, suddely one thing popped up in my head. 'Must get a new pair of shoes for the farewell dinner!!'

12. Left Fiza & Syaz in Primark. Me & Kae went shoehunting in almost all shoes shops in Drake Circus. The shoes must be comfortable. So, automatically Topshop, New Look, Primark were automatically out from the list. [They made crappy shoes okay!!] And it must have at least 3" heels. Hehe. ^^ Budget --> not more than gbp30. I'm way overbudget this months. Must control my spending from now on.. -_- Tapikn.. why la most heels that I berkenan mesti costs more than gbp30. Sedey okay..T_T

13. The last location for our shoehunting was m&s. To cut the story short, I got my shoes. Hehe. Comfortability - check. Style - check. Heels height - check. Colour - check. Price - check. And the best thing it was from m&s limited collection. The thing that I like most bout this shoes is its heels! Check out its photo below! I like. ^^

14. Then we [shoehunters] went to Boots to kill the time while waiting for the two people in Primark. Tested few stuffs. I want a new pink blusher!!

15. Went back to Marjon around 5.30pm. Not late, but it already dark & shops had started closing!! I hate winter!!

16. Around 6pm --> home sweet home.. ^^

2. Decorating Christmas tree at INTED. Tasted a minced meat pie [no meat okay, purely fruits & herbs]. Don't really fancy it. Too sweet for my taste bud.. Must pasang our very own christmas tree & xmas stocking today!! Remember our raya haji + xmas open house last year? ^^ Btw, any pressie for me this year? =P

3. Lunch --> Battered Cod Fillet at Rendezvous. Yummy. ^^

5. I shopped a lot recently [online & offline]. Will make an empty entry bout my latest acquisition.

4. I didn't sleep the whole night because I spent my night editing my reference list. Betul.. Tak tipu.. -_- Luckily I rajin to check everthing one by one kalau tak abes la coz I forgot to write few names on the list.. -_- I slept only for 2 hours after Subuh prayer. My body is darn tired, but my mind still wanna berjoli. Smpai typo2 dibuatnye.. *lol* Must take a nap now. I don't want to look sleepy at Eid ul Adha dinner at House 38. =D

Though this is a bit late, I still wanna wish Happy Eid ul Adha to my dearest muslim readers. Maaf zahir batin for everything. =)
